    1.  Insufficient or no traffic

    –  Cause 1: Air intake or liquid intake is blocked

    – During the working process of the micro diaphragm pump, if the air or liquid inlet is blocked by impurities, dirt or foreign matter, it will hinder the normal suction of the liquid. For example, when the pump is used to transport water containing sediment, sediment may accumulate at the inlet filter screen, gradually clogging the filter screen, reducing the amount of liquid entering the pump body, and ultimately resulting in insufficient flow.

    – In addition, some small chemical agent delivery pumps, if the agent contains crystalline substances, these crystals may form a blockage in the inlet or pipe, affecting the smooth entry of the liquid.

    –  Cause 2: Check valve failure

    – Check valve is the key component to ensure the one-way flow of liquid. If the check valve is damaged, such as the valve plate is stuck by a foreign body, the seal is not tight, or the elastic component fails, it will cause the liquid to backflow and cannot be discharged normally, thus reducing the flow rate. For example, in some frequent start and stop application scenarios, the valve disc of the check valve may be deformed due to momentary pressure shock, damaging its sealing, making some liquid return when the pump is working, reducing the actual output flow.

    –  Reason 3: Diaphragm damage

    – Rupture, perforation or aging of the diaphragm will affect its normal reciprocating movement, which will lead to abnormal changes in the volume of the pump chamber, and can not effectively inhale and discharge liquid. For example, when the liquid delivered by the pump is corrosive, prolonged contact may corrode the diaphragm, causing it to decrease in strength and eventually break. In addition, the frequent movement of the diaphragm will also lead to its fatigue aging, especially in the case of high frequency work, the diaphragm may lose elasticity in advance, affecting the flow of the pump.

    1.  Insufficient stress

    –  Cause 1: Abnormal motor speed

    – The motor is the power source that drives the diaphragm pump. If the motor speed does not reach the rated speed, it will lead to a reduction in the movement frequency of the diaphragm and insufficient output pressure of the pump. This may be caused by insufficient motor supply voltage, short circuit of motor winding or overload protection. For example, in an environment where the power supply voltage is unstable, when the voltage is lower than the rated voltage of the motor, the speed of the motor will decrease, making the working pressure of the diaphragm pump not meet the requirements.

    –  Cause 2: The exhaust port is blocked or not smooth

    – For some micro diaphragm pumps with exhaust function, if the exhaust port is blocked, the gas in the pump chamber can not be discharged smoothly, which will affect the suction and discharge of the liquid, resulting in insufficient pressure. This situation is more common in newly installed pumps or pumps that have not been used for a long time. For example, the exhaust port of the pump may be blocked by foreign matter during transportation, or after a long time of idling, the exhaust port is sealed by impurities such as dust, making the pump unable to work normally after starting.

    –  Reason 3: Diaphragm leakage or poor seal

    – In addition to affecting flow, diaphragm leakage or poor sealing can also cause insufficient pressure. If there is a problem with the seal between the diaphragm and the pump body, or the diaphragm itself has a tiny perforation, some of the liquid will leak when the pump is working, and enough pressure cannot be formed to push the liquid out. This may be due to improper installation of the diaphragm, aging or damage to the seal and other reasons.

    1.  Leakage problem

    –  Reason 1: Aging or damage of seals

    – There are multiple seals in the micro diaphragm pump, such as the seal between the diaphragm and the pump body, the seal of the inlet and outlet, etc. If these seals are aged, worn or damaged, liquid leakage can occur. For example, a sealing gasket subjected to liquid immersion and pressure for a long time may be deformed, hardened, or cracked, resulting in liquid seepage from the seal.

    –  Cause 2: Loose or damaged pipe connection

    – The pipe connection to the inlet and outlet is not strong or the pipe itself is cracked and other damage can also lead to liquid leakage. During the installation of the pump, if the pipeline connection is not tightened, or is affected by external force impact, vibration, etc., during use, the pipeline may loosen or break, making the liquid leak to the outside.

    1.  Abnormal noise or vibration

    –  Cause 1: Foreign bodies enter the pump

    – When a foreign body (such as small stones, metal fragments, etc.) enters the pump body, it will collide with it during the diaphragm movement or liquid flow, resulting in abnormal noise and vibration. For example, a pump used in an outdoor environment may have this condition due to impurities in the surrounding environment entering the pump body.

    –  Reason 2: Parts loose or wear

    – The internal parts of the pump (such as diaphragm fixing screws, motor brackets, etc.) are loose, or the parts wear each other (such as between the impeller and the pump housing, between the diaphragm and the pump body), which will cause vibration and noise. For example, the reciprocating movement of the diaphragm for a long time may cause its fixing screws to loosen, causing the diaphragm to shake during the movement, issuing abnormal sounds and accompanied by vibration. In addition, parts with severe wear will also produce friction noise when working because of uneven surfaces.
