    The common faults and solutions of micro air pumps are as follows:

    Air pump not working

    –  Power supply problem  : It may be that the power supply voltage is not in the rated range, the power cord is damaged or the plug is in poor contact. Use a multimeter to measure the power voltage, check whether the power cable is damaged or broken, and reinsert the plug or replace the power cable.

    –  Switch failure  : Switch damage will cause the air pump can not start normally. Check whether the switch can be turned on or off normally. If the switch is damaged, replace it in time.

    –  Motor failure  : motor winding short circuit, open circuit, motor starting capacitor damage, etc., may make the motor unable to run. Use a multimeter to detect the resistance value of the motor winding to determine whether it is short circuit or open; Use a capacitance tester to test the starting capacitance. If the capacitance deviates from the rated value, replace the capacitor.

    –  Control circuit fault  : Loose circuit wiring, short circuit, control element damage will affect the work of the air pump. Carefully check whether the circuit wiring is firm, whether there is loose, short circuit phenomenon, if necessary, use professional tools to detect control components, such as relays, fuses, etc., to replace damaged components.

    Air pump leaks

    –  Seals wear or aging  : seals of the pump body, piston rings and other seals will wear or age after a long time of use. The air pump should be disassembled, worn or aged seals identified and replaced with new seals.

    –  Pipe connection problems  : Loose pipe connectors and damaged pipes may cause air leakage. Check whether the pipe connector is tight. If it is loose, tighten it again. If the pipe is damaged, replace the damaged pipe.

    –  Damage to the air pump housing or parts  : The air pump housing has cracks, pores and other damage, which will also cause air leakage. Carefully check the air pump housing and components, find the damage, repair or replace parts according to the situation.

    Lack of pressure

    –  The intake filter is blocked  : The blockage of the filter will make the intake volume insufficient, resulting in a drop in pressure. The intake filter can be cleaned or replaced.

    –  Pressure limiting valve set improper  : pressure limiting valve set pressure is too low, will make the air pump does not reach the required pressure to stop working. It is necessary to adjust the set pressure of the pressure limiting valve to meet the working requirements.

    –  Internal parts of the air pump wear  : such as piston, impeller and other parts wear, will affect the compression capacity of the air pump. Remove the air pump, check the wear of the parts, and replace the badly worn parts.

    Abnormal noise

    –  Lack of oil or poor lubrication  : lack of oil in the cylinder block, damage to the oil pump, etc., resulting in increased friction and abnormal sound. Check the oil circuit, add lubricating oil to the appropriate oil level, if the oil pump is damaged, replace the oil pump in time.

    –  Bearing wear  : The bearing inside the air pump is worn, which will make the air pump run unstable and make abnormal noises. Professional tools are required to disassemble the air pump and replace the worn bearings.

    –  Fan problem  : The fan blades are aging, deformed or interrupted, which will produce abnormal noise. Check the fan blade. If the fan blade is damaged, replace it.

    Overheat

    –  Poor heat dissipation  : Air pump placed in a poorly ventilated place will affect the heat dissipation effect. The air pump should be placed in a position with good air circulation and avoid use in a high temperature, humid or closed environment.

    –  Continuous work for a long time  : Continuous use of the air pump for a long time will overheat the motor and other components. The continuous working time of the air pump can be appropriately reduced and the intermittent rest time can be increased.
